  • UNIVERSAL. Use it with any kind of press brakes with any tools. Keep it in position simply using small magnets or tape.
  • EFFECTIVE. Prevents scratches and die mark made during bending phase on delicate materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, satin, pre-painted or anodized.
  • PRACTICAL. Can be used in conjunction with any type of dies and attached using fabric tape or magnets.
  • ACCURATE. Virtually no effect on the constancy of the bend! 1 mm thikness at rest, becomes 0.1 mm while bent and remains constant for several hundred bends.
  • STRONG. Excellent durability! Tested in our laboratories and by our customers it provides a working life of many hundreds cycles without needing to move it, even with very small radius die.
  • ELASTIC. The special weave prevents the material being dragged towards the bottom of the die making it unusable in just a few bends .

How to use

With medium small dies (until V=50mm)

With big dies (over V=50mm)
For use on small and medium size dies just attach a strip of Kizu-non to the shoulders of the die, with fabric tape or magnets. Thanks to elasticity of the weave will allow the execution of work without being pulled down into the bottom of the die. For use on large dies you must attach two stripes of Kizu-non with fabric tape or magnets: a strip for each shoulder as shown in the figure.

Urethane stripes

A-Tape
The cuts made by the pressure on the stripe by the metal sheet make it necessary to continuously move to obtain a acceptable result. This shorten the stripe life and a decrease in productivity. Because of limited elasticity it is pulled down in the die groove with risk of angle changes or tooling damades. It is not reusable because of adhesive strength from the very first use. Two stripes are needed for any die making the cost to double.

Test conditions:

1.  The tests are carried out in all conditions. Even the worst!

2.The Kizu-non sheet has been attached to the die with fabric tape.

3.Test sheet size 10x10cm. There are 4-5 repositioning available.

4.The duration is closely linked to the width of the V, the RADIUS and angle of bend. With lower values is less than the duration.
